We have been lucky enough to have been lent an original WWII British officer's tent. These are so rare that we have never come across one and the collector who owns this one has only ever seen another one and was dated 1943. So we have been exceptionally lucky to have been able to use it to get an exact copy.
Basically they are a ridge tent - so they have two uprights and one ridge pole. They are 6' 6" x 6' 6" and are a stunning tent and will be very very popular and will make a huge impact in dioramas and at shows.
With the 65th of D-Day coming up these are going to go very quick. They come with all of the poles, correct pegs, manila guy ropes and the correct weight canvas and a top quality mallet.
